Brilliant, beautiful garnet red.
Bright fruit aromas of black cherry, cranberry and redcurrant are true to our vineyard’s terroir, these characters are supported by a carefully balanced French oak clove-like character.
When tasted, the promised fruit characters are replicated on the palate. Elegance is a feature of the vintage and this wine has a very elegant profile that expresses a lovely interplay between the flesh of fruit weight and the skeleton of fine natural acid and tannin. Trademark Pinot Noir characters of mid-palate fleshy richness, balanced by the afore-mentioned tannin, completes this fine, long in flavour, wine.
This wine is a joy to drink now but careful cellaring will reward the patient.
Lamb, mushroom risotto, duck etc.
