Colour: Bright Pale Straw
Nose: Lush tropical notes of passionfruit, pineapple, melon and lychee dominate the nose, with some peach and pear aromas also. A hint of honey sweetness also underlies.
Palate: The tropical fruity flavours are replicated on the palate, complemented by a slight mineral acidity, not as apparent as in previous vintages of Pierrepoint Pinot Gris. Combined, these characteristics produce a well rounded balanced wine, with great length and a fresh, lively finish.
Serve as an aperitif or match with fish, chicken, seafood pasta or soft cheeses.
