Henty Wine Region
The Henty region climate is characterised by cold, wet winters and warm, dry summers followed by a long cool autumn ripening period. Grapes ripen later here than in many other wine regions, resulting in superb intense varietal flavours.
Henty region wines are generally elegant, long-lived and well balanced with fine natural acidity. The area has become renowned for its aromatic white wines, luscious sweet dessert wines and intense, finely structured reds.
