TASTING NOTES
“A voluptuous but fresh Chardonnay with aromas of citrus, melon and toasted pastry. Medium weight on the palate offers flavours of freshly cut lemon, grilled lime and cashew with a slight oak toastiness. Subtle tannin frames the wine nicely with generous acidity and a nice length. Screwcap. 12.5% alc.”
WINE MAKING NOTES
“Gently whole bunch pressed in a pneumatic bag press and transferred to a mix of new and old French oak barrels for fermentation. Natural fermentation in the cellar followed by aging on lees in a mix of new to 5 year old French oak barriques for 12 months. 100% Malolactic fermentation and another small protective amount of sulphur dioxide prior to bottling.”
